Jeunesse Lambda is thrilled to announce that after a lot of effort, we are finally able to launch a program that we’ve been working on since 2018. We are proud to present Queerrières! A fun portmanteau of queer and the French word for career, the goal of this program is to offer accessible and realistic queer role models to our participants.

Each month, different professionals will be invited to speak about their jobs, their education, the various queer and trans issues in their workplace as well as give advice on how to succeed in their field! We will also organise workshops aimed to teach our participants to know how to write a resume, create a budget as well as other necessary life skills.

As homophobia and transphobia spread rampant in our society, Jeunesse Lambda wishes for its participants to be able to imagine themselves in a successful career despite the future being uncertain.
